It took me forever to find out how to post on this thing. Old age maybe?
Had a fab time in Hawaii even though it doesn't spark my interest as far as 'getting into the culture' goes. It is somewhat like being in the States. Oh, wait a minute, it is the States. We did manage to scout out some local happenings but mostly spent the time enjoying each others company. Drinking wine on the beach at sunset, taking hand in hand walks, eating humongus (sp?) cheesecakes in Wikiki. We spent a week on the North Shore in a cottage across from the beach. Great views, great company!
Daniel is now sailing home from Hawaii on a 54 foot boat all decked out with the latest equipment. A little different from his last sail!
